Thebay.com / Hudson's Bay [HBC] - Product not received

The order #[protected] was processed on Nov. 8, 2021. It didn't arrive until today, and Canada Post says that due to flooding in B.C. it cannot be delivered.

I have called The Bay customer service five times and was not helped. Agents told me to wait, call Canada Post, which I did, but when I asked for a refund, one agent said I cannot have it before I get the package, the other said I could, that I just have to call, then the next one said that she made a request for a refund and that I would hear back from them within 48 hours. That was on Nov. 26. Since I haven't heard anything, I called today, and the agent said that the request for a refund wasn't made.

This product was not delivered beyond the expected date. The constant calling of the customer service centre and getting contradictory information has caused considerable stress for me. I have never been helped by the agents, but just put on hold for a very long time. There are already hundreds of negative reviews of The Bay's customer service online.
